WHY TVB dramas always look like they’re produced by a 3rd-world country

"Classical Music Collection" with a SAXOPHONE CLIP ART. VERY CLEAR.

PROPS
no matter how professional and decent the gift is supposed to be, it always ends up looking OBVIOUSLY like a DIY self-assembled THING. a pirate CD would look BETTER than THIS. it’s a new CD but you have no idea why there are scratches all over the case. AND YOU KNOW TVB ALBUMS (or whatever thing that has a title) ARE ALWAYS THE CHINESE VERSION. (<- that’s like regardless of the characters’ profession or cultural background or habit they’d always TEXT IN CLEAR CHINESE, not even informal chinese ykwim.) i don’t mean chinese is bad but you go to HMV: things simply DON’T HAPPEN THAT WAY. THAT TYPOGRAPHY. and say if they don’t really have the technique to make a convincing mock-up can they use a REAL thing instead of avoiding to use any real and existing brand/name/people/place/etc. ALL THE TIME????? [but then i don’t know about this 茲德士愛樂團. MAYBE IT EXISTS BUT I CAN’T GOOGLE IT]

STRING INSTRUMENT SOUND AND ACTION MISMATCH
SERIOUSLY, IS IT THAT HARD FOR THE BIGGEST BROADCAST COMPANY IN HONG KONG TO GET A KID THAT CAN ACTUALLY PLAY THE VIOLIN? SHE’S NOT EVEN THE LEADING ACTRESS WHO CAN’T BE REPLACED WHO MAY NOT HAVE TIME TO BE TRAINED FOR JUST A GODDAMN EPISODE (BUT EVEN THAT IS NOT AN EXCUSE). SERIOUSLY, THIS HAPPENS IN EVERY VIOLIN-RELATED SCENE SINCE I WAS A KID AND 20 YEARS PASSED AND THERE IS NO IMPROVEMENT.

hahaha!… next time will you also capture those scenes whenever two persons are on msn, the font sizes they used are so LARGE that even lazy eyed people can see it without a problem?

  1. Good stuff. Everytime I see a TVB episode, I always want to smash the TV and go kill some people, preferably TVB execs.

Even film school students can make higher production value stuffs with much better plot and better actors who can partially act.
